Our dear sweet Stephen went home to the Lord. His suffering has ended. He was so upbeat, positive and kind until the end. Our hearts are broken while knowing he’s in the best place with Jesus. Thank you all who have prayed for his recovery, healing and comfort.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 20. Friends from 10-11 and funeral service officiated by Pastor Steve at 11:00 at Beyers Funeral Home – 134 N Hwy 441, Lady Lake.

Adjusting to strong medicine prescribed at E.R. has been difficult and the first available appointment with neurologist is this August.

For Judi Courter’s brother-in-law Stephen, please pray:- Stephen’s first treatment in Gainesville today. Home 2 hours and had to ambulance him to ER. Fever, unable to stand, trembling etc. just completed brain scan to see if brain swelling. Just learned Brain bleed right side. Sending a helicopter now at 9:50 pm to take him back to Shands. Lord have mercy.

“Would you and your prayer ladies please pray for my friend, Amber, in NE? She’s in the hospital. Here’s what she updated on Facebook:
For all of you who’ve been waiting for an update – sorry that I’ve been so slow to get one out here. I’ve been in the infectious disease ward of the hospital since Saturday. I have shingles – which really doesn’t sound as bad as it is. Because of my low immune system (or, as my Dr says, lack of immune system) it hit me hard. I can’t open one eye, and have sores all over my face & scalp. They’re giving me a cocktail of meds to try to get me healthy. The problem is, with no immune system, it can spread to my brain/lungs/liver/etc. So, I will stay here where they can monitor that I’m actually getting better. Thank you all for your prayers! Please keep them coming. Pain management has been a struggle, as has been the swelling on the right half of my face. Please also pray that Jon doesn’t get sick. He’s been taking care of the kids, as well as cleaning everything at home & making time to come visit me.”
